Electric Switch
We use electric switches to put on or off the electrical device and machines. An electric switch is a device that is used to open or close an electric circuit. In an electrical circuit, a switch is sometimes referred to as a ‘key’.
When the key is closed, the electric circuit is complete and the current is allowed to flow through the circuit . The appliance, which is the part of the circuit, works. When the key is open, the circuit is incomplete, no current flows and the appliances does not work.
